Job summary

Shape Corp in Trenton, Ohio seeks a Quality Manager to oversee the quality function, ensure healthy quality systems, and coordinate with customers and suppliers on issues.

You will lead continuous improvement, drive launch quality, and maintain IATF 16949 compliance across the plant.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in quality, strong problem solving, and proficiency with APQP/PPAP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Quality or related field required.
• Experience with problem solving tools (5 Why, 8D, RCA).
• Experience with IATF 16949 and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop documentation to support Product Development Process (APQP, PPAP, FMEA).
• Maintain documents for Shape Corp quality specs and document control.
• Interface with Customer/Supplier personnel to resolve quality issues.
• Lead efforts to implement and maintain IATF 16949 quality systems.
• Coordinate audits and continuous improvement using SPC and other tools.
• Perform Gage R&R studies and maintain control plans.
