Job summary

Oatey seeks a Quality Systems Engineer to design and implement quality management systems across manufacturing and distribution sites. You will train associates, manage the site internal auditing program, and report results to Corporate Quality Systems Manager to drive consistency and reduce product variation.

The role requires 3-5 years of QMS auditing experience, strong ISO 9001 knowledge, and ability to travel to other sites quarterly for audits and best practices.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of QMS auditing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in audit techniques, documentation review, and quality control methods.

Responsibilities

• QMS Site Assessment: identify non-compliant systems and processes across sites.
• QMS Implementation: improve quality systems to meet standards.
• Site Internal Auditing: train auditors and run internal audits per policy.
• Audit Reporting: create detailed reports with findings and corrective actions.
• Management Review: monitor effectiveness of the QMS and report results.
• Training and Education: guide associates on quality processes and standards.
• Travel: quarterly audits to other sites for best practices.
