Job summary

Thule Group in Seymour, CT seeks a Management Systems Engineer to develop, lead, and maintain ISO-based management systems. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and drive continual improvement for OEM quality requirements.

Responsibilities include internal audits, external audits, PPAP documentation, and training staff on control processes. The role requires 5–7 years of experience and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Quality Management with 5–7 years of experience.
• Certification in ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
• 5 years of auditing experience and certifications.
• In-depth knowledge of management standards and development/implementation of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent PPAP knowledge and submissions.
• Excellent communication and strong leadership skills.
• Experience with OEMs and portals a plus.
• Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and IMDS principles.
• Computer literacy in MS Office; M3 system knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the company’s management systems, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Organize and conduct internal audits; follow up on corrective actions.
• Host external audits (compliance, customer, registrar).
• Maintain manuals, procedures, and documents for the business.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency of management systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for customer issues.
• Provide training on management systems and control processes.
• Conduct layered process audits and report results.
• Lead daily Quality activities for OEM customers.
