Job summary

Hydro Extrusions in North America is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive the quality culture on the plant floor. The role focuses on leveraging data and team insights to implement effective quality solutions, educate the workforce, and support routine quality functions and customer investigations.

You will lead root-cause investigations, coordinate containment and corrective actions, and push for cross-functional improvements across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in manufacturing quality engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations into customer complaints and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Identify internal product and process issues using data analysis and inspections; coordinate short- and long-term resolutions.
• Collaborate with teams on product dispositioning and drive quality improvements on the shop floor.
• Lead manufacturing projects to enhance product quality, equipment efficiency and workplace environment.
• Organize and oversee internal product/process trials on the shop floor.
• Coach shop floor personnel on quality practices and compliance.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
