Job summary

Precoat Metals Corp in Greenfield, IN is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive process capability, ISO compliance and data-driven improvements at our Greenfield plant. You will establish programs to evaluate process precision, support corrective and preventative actions, and collaborate with leaders to implement training and change that improves quality and efficiency across production lines.

This role requires up to 15% travel and a strong background in Lean/Six Sigma to sustain measurable

Qualifications

BS in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience.
Interpersonal Savvy, diplomacy and tact.
Strong planning, organizational and project management skills.
Experience in quality control program operations and measurement techniques.
Travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

Establish programs, policies & procedures to evaluate precision, accuracy and capability of processes, products, production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities.
Support the development and implementation of corrective and preventative action systems, internal non-conformance, and audit findings.
Communicate to leaders and employees on improvement projects and activities including training material development and conducting sessions on improvement tools & methodologies.
Driving the adoption of change across units with a measured, win‑win approach.
Marshalling and motivating individuals without a direct reporting relationship; implementing structured analysis into complex on-demand problem solving.
