Job summary

TalentSphere seeks a seasoned Quality Systems Lead to own quality initiatives at our Indianapolis manufacturing facility. You will lead quality engineering and improvement efforts, maintain the Quality Management System and ISO 9001 compliance, and work closely with operations to resolve quality issues.

This senior, hands-on role requires 15+ years of progressive quality experience in manufacturing, strong GD&T and 2D/3D drawing interpretation, and proven ability to drive audits and corrective

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electronics Engineering, or related.
• 15+ years of progressive quality experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in machining and/or assembly manufacturing environments.
• ISO 9001:2015 knowledge; Lead Auditor experience or qualification.
• Strong ability to read 2D/3D drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, Pareto, PFMEA and Control Plans.
• ERP and quality/data-analysis tools; Minitab experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality engineering and quality improvement activities for the Indianapolis facility.
• Maintain and support the Quality Management System and ISO 9001 compliance.
• Lead internal and external quality audits, document findings, and ensure corrective actions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and operations to resolve quality and customer concerns.
• Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and monitor quality metrics and provide reports to management.
• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions using 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, PFMEA.
• Review and improve processes, procedures, and quality documentation.
• Support process mapping and continuous improvement across the facility.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T; support new product introductions.
• Promote quality awareness and provide training on quality processes.
• Partner with leadership to improve customer satisfaction and performance.
• Support regulatory and certification requirements; occasional travel.
