Job summary

Honda Aircraft Company, LLC in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Quality Systems & Compliance Engineer to combine quality engineering with data analytics (SAP, Business Objects, Excel) to drive process improvements and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will lead audit readiness, support FAA regulatory audits, and coordinate division-level planning for capital equipment, operating expenses, and headcount, while serving as a SME for SAP quality processes and SharePoint workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field.
• 2+ years of Quality Engineering or industrial engineering in aerospace/manufacturing.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience with SAP, Business Objects and corrective action systems.
• Strong analytical reasoning, audit leadership, and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Compile, analyze, and communicate recurring quality compliance metrics and audit trends in SAP and Excel.
• Serve as divisional subject matter expert for SAP quality processes, SharePoint workflows, and system access.
• Lead process improvement projects that eliminate waste, strengthen compliance, and improve quality performance.
• Support FAA regulatory audit readiness, lead internal quality audits, and track corrective action closures.
• Coordinate division-level business planning inputs for capital equipment, operating expense, and headcount.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field.
• 2+ years of Quality Engineering or industrial engineering experience in an aerospace or manufacturing setting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, charting) and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of enterprise ERP systems (SAP, Business Objects) and corrective action systems.
• Strong analytical reasoning, audit leadership, and cross-functional technical communication skills.
