Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Business Management or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5+ years supervisory or quality management experience in manufacturing (Automotive experience a plus).
  • Deep expertise in Quality Assurance principles, metrology, and industrial laboratory analysis.
  • Advanced working knowledge of IATF 16949 / ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and continuously improve the QMS and compliance with quality manuals.
  • Plan and conduct internal QMS and product/process audits; evaluate compliance and effectiveness.
  • Interface with customers and suppliers; lead investigations and verify corrective actions.
  • Maintain authority to halt processes to prevent non-conformities.
  • Track non-quality costs and drive department goals and corrective actions.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Quality / Engineering / Business Management

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Quality System Manager to oversee, maintain, and continuously improve our Quality Management System (QMS). In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring complete compliance with quality manuals, directing internal and product audit schedules, managing non-quality costs, and driving immediate root-cause resolutions for any customer or vendor issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • QMS Implementation & Governance: Fully execute and maintain the Quality System Manual, ensuring alignment with all internal operating procedures, legal/statutory standards, and customer requirements.

  • Audits & Compliance: Establish and oversee schedules for internal QMS audits as well as product and process audits. Evaluate compliance and procedure effectiveness across the facility.

  • Customer & Vendor Liaison: Serve as the primary quality interface for suppliers and customers. Lead complaint investigations, validate root-cause analyses, and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.

  • Process Control & Authority: Verify and enforce the use of appropriate control plans across all manufacturing stages. Maintain full authority to halt any process or activity to prevent non-conformities.

  • Cost & Performance Optimization: Track, report, and manage all non-quality costs. Set short- and long-term departmental goals, lead management review sessions, and follow up on corrective action items.

Key Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of supervisory or quality management experience in a manufacturing environment (Automotive industry experience is a major plus).

  • Technical Knowledge: Deep expertise in Quality Assurance principles, metrology, and industrial laboratory analysis.

  • Industry Standards: Advanced working knowledge of IATF 16949 / ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, and act as the primary voice of the customer.
