Qualifications

  • H.S. diploma or equivalent.
  • Registered with Florida Board of Pharmacy / Licensed Pharmacy Technician.
  • Long Term Care Pharmacy experience.
  • Knowledge of the Pharmacy floor area, a plus.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
  • Uses good judgment and independent decision-making.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Microsoft Excel; Frameworks.
  • Ability to be mobile in performing job duties.

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties assigned by the VP of Operations or Pharmacist in Charge and/or Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Conduct audit related activities including but not limited to, obtaining, and analyzing data, reviewing records, supporting documentation, and completed audit work papers.
  • Monitors pharmacy related processes and data for compliance and accuracy.
  • Performs ongoing assessment and monitor pharmacy related areas.
  • Assist with the development of training and training materials for new and existing employees.
  • Work with internal teams to standardize training processes and systems.
  • Assist and coordinate any QI Projects, as needed.
  • Implement and maintain department objectives to ensure compliance of JCAHO accrediting.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
