Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Quality Engineering Intern to contribute to safety, quality, and cost improvements across a dedicated product portfolio. You will gain hands-on experience with EDM, FHD, ECM, and other non-traditional machining technologies in a high-stakes environment.

Responsibilities include leading Built-in-Quality initiatives, managing MRB processes, reducing defects, and supporting continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Majors accepted: Industrial, Chemical, Electrical, Materials, and Mechanical Engineering.
• GPA minimum: 3.0 (cumulative).
• U.S. export controls: role restricted to U.S. Persons.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety, quality, delivery and cost across your product portfolio.
• Manage out-of-flow inventory (MRB, NC, braze repairs, re-coat).
• Drive Built-in-Quality implementation and sustainability for your portfolio.
• Reduce defects, scrap and rework through daily management and problem solving.
• Collaborate with Design Liaison Engineers on MRB processes and disposition.
• Lead continuous improvement projects in Manufacturing & Quality.
• Provide training for quality processes as needed.
• Maintain Quality Management System procedures and perform audits.
