Discover Staffing is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to support federal contracts from Georgia. The role ensures QA coverage aligns with work instructions, quality standards, and regulatory requirements while safeguarding sensitive data and maintaining rigorous documentation for compliance.

You will lead investigations, calibrations, and process improvements across manufacturing, guiding cross-functional teams toward higher quality and efficiency, with emphasis on audits and regulatory

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and regulatory expectations.
• Experience leading QA teams and developing staff.
• Proficient with mechanical inspection tools such as gages, calipers, micrometers, and CMM.
• Post-secondary education in a scientific/quality/manufacturing field preferred.
• 3+ years in Quality Assurance within regulated environments (manufacturing, medical, military).
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience and team development.
• Experience with audits, investigations, deviations, and quality documentation.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Assess staffing requirements and adjust QA coverage as needed.
• Ensure QA staff adhere to work instructions, quality standards, and regulatory needs.
• Oversee in-process inspections, test results, and batch documentation for release readiness.
• Monitor calibration programs to keep equipment compliant and operative.
• Develop and implement work instructions and other quality documents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality and efficiency.
• Lead investigations into deviations, non-conformances, and quality incidents.
• Support audits, inspections, validations, and regulatory readiness.
• Provide training on new processes, procedures, and equipment.
• Stay updated on process engineering technologies and best practices.
