Job summary

TransPak is seeking a Quality Supervisor to oversee Quality Control and Quality Assurance activities. You will ensure compliance with QBMS processes, manage inspection stages, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights.

The role emphasizes process improvement over surface inspection and reports to the Quality Manager or Operations Manager. The position requires hands-on leadership of the QC team, audits, CAPA handling, and collaboration across engineering, sales, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Proven experience in 8D problem solving and Root Cause Analysis.
• Ability to lead small teams, including supervision, training and evaluating employees.
• Understanding of basic manufacturing processes.
• Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel and ability to learn proprietary software.
• Ability to convert decimal to fraction and vice versa; metric to imperial.

Responsibilities

• Lead QC team daily activities and verify outputs and inspection records.
• Provide feedback to management, production and engineering on risks and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with departments on workforce development and customer feedback.
