Job summary

Searchmasters Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking a Quality Leader to guide a team of 10 inspectors and technicians within the Quality department, acting as a floor-oriented problem solver to drive hands-on resolution of quality issues.

You will train staff in root cause analysis and corrective action processes, implement and oversee 8D and 5Y frameworks, participate in internal audits for compliance and continuous improvement, and serve as a succession plan candidate for upward leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in corrective actions and problem solving.
• Experience implementing 8D and 5Y frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 10 inspectors and technicians in Quality.
• Serve as a floor-oriented problem solver to drive hands-on resolution of quality issues.
• Train and develop staff in root cause analysis methodologies and corrective action processes.
• Implement and oversee 8D's and 5Y's problem-solving frameworks across the team.
• Participate in and support internal audit programs to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
• Function as a succession plan candidate for upward leadership within the business.
