Job summary

Search Masters, Inc. is seeking a Quality Leader to oversee a team of 10 inspectors and technicians in a heavy manufacturing operation.

You will act as a floor‑level problem solver, driving hands‑on resolution of quality issues and coaching staff in root cause analysis. The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering, at least 3 years of manufacturing leadership experience, and a proven track record with corrective actions, 8D and 5Y frameworks, and internal audits to support continuous improvement

Qualifications

• BS Eng required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills with corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 10 inspectors and technicians within the Quality department.
• Serve as a floor-oriented problem solver, driving hands-on resolution of quality issues.
• Train and develop staff in root cause analysis methodologies and corrective action processes.
• Implement and oversee 8D's and 5Y's problem-solving frameworks across the team.
• Participate in and support internal audit programs to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
• Function as a succession plan candidate for upward leadership within the business.
