• Maintaining OJT training for Quality Technicians.
• Creation and maintenance of work instructions.
• Supervising external sorting companies.
• Tracking internal sorts.
• Coordinating weekly quality team meetings.
• Completing assigned corrective actions.
• Participating in cross-functional teams for control plans.
• Reviewing Customer Specific Requirements and standards.

Overview

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Quality Supervisor/Engineer to work in the Perrysburg, Ohio area for a global tier-1 automotive supplier. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Approving daily and scheduling time for Quality Technicians
• Scheduling quality-related activities in the facility and ensuring compliance to schedule for all product and product audits and testing
• Communicating internal and external findings to Quality Technicians
• Maintaining Quality Technician OJT training that is completed and evaluated
• Creation and maintenance of Quality Technician work instructions, evaluating and approving quality alerts, and other quality documentation as required
• Supervision of external sorting companies during shift to ensure compliance with company policies
• Tracking of internal sorts
• Coordinating and scheduling weekly quality team meetings
• Coordinating completion of assigned corrective actions
• Participates in cross-functional teams to develop control plans, PFMEA, and root cause analysis
• Review Customer Specific Requirements, IATF 16949, ISO 9001 for understanding implementations
• Promote and assist in team building, build positive team member relations and demonstrate positive leadership skills; lead by example
• Promote and facilitate open door process, effective communication and fair treatment
• Participate and encourage continual improvement activities
• Organize, maintain and promote a safe work environment
• Adhere to customer requirements, business operating system and company policies
