Job summary

PJ Trailers in Mount Orab, Ohio seeks a Quality Supervisor to oversee the plant quality department and collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to resolve issues.

You will monitor inspectors and team leaders, perform RCA/CA, maintain quality processes, support audits, and lead Kaizen events while ensuring ISO 9000 compliance and Lean practices.

This role requires the ability to work under pressure, travel up to 10%, and communicate clearly across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related field; quality background preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing and quality assurance.
• Understanding of ISO 9000 implementation.
• Lean manufacturing principles familiarity.
• Strong problem-solving experience is a must.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor quality employee attendance and take disciplinary action as needed; mentor inspectors.
• Review and track internal and external issues daily.
• Perform RCA and CA on top 3 issues on time.
• Containment and tracking of internal and external issues.
• Daily updates on top plant quality issues and actions.
• Apply CI, RCA, CA and tools like fishbone, 5Y's, 6M etc.
• Oversee quality standards and processes for consistency.
• Work closely with Quality Engineers.
• Assist in Kaizen events as needed.
• Participate in process audits and communicate findings.
• Assist training on quality theory, problem solving and standard work.
• Help with MRB, IQC and other Quality programs.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
