Job summary

Protolabs in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking a hands-on Quality Supervisor II to lead daily Quality Control operations and ensure products meet the highest standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Site Quality Manager, you will coach supervisors and inspectors, collaborate across shifts, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining a culture of accountability and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree is required.
• Bachelor's in a technical field preferred.
• Lead/ supervise quality or manufacturing teams.
• Ability to lead daily operations in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent technical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments and shifts.
• Experience coaching and developing employees and driving accountability.
• Familiar with quality systems, standards, and documentation.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Experience training employees in quality systems and inspection methods.
• Six Sigma or Lean Certifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Quality Control operations and inspections.
• Provide leadership to multiple Quality Supervisors and trainers.
• Influence quality performance across shifts and departments.
• Drive continuous improvement and accountability.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, safety, and quality excellence.
• Attend and participate in daily/ MRB meetings.
