Job summary

The Gill Corporation is seeking a Quality Supervisor to support the Quality Manager in implementing and maintaining quality initiatives. This role covers in-process inspection, final inspection, first article inspection, and MRB across a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Responsibilities include audits, root cause analysis, documenting improvements, and leading a small quality team. The candidate should have AS9100/ISO knowledge and strong communication skills, with the ability to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in Quality Control.
• Technical or Associate’s degree.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO standards; AS9100 auditor preferred.
• Practical knowledge in root cause analysis, FMEA, DOE and data analysis methodologies.
• Proficient in SPC documentation and interpretation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal/process audits and ensure compliance with procedures, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
• Interface with customers and vendors to resolve product quality problems.
• Lead problem solving activities including root cause analysis and risk management.
• Communicate significant issues and provide plans to management for resolution.
• Review and update controlled documents (GMS, GPS, specs, methods) and implement changes.
• Support QMS management review with analytical perspectives and data.
• Drive continuous improvement using Six-Sigma and Kaizen to improve process and product quality.
• Create inspection plans defining validation methods for requirements.
• Supervise quality staff and perform other duties as assigned.

The Gill Corporation is seeking a Quality Supervisor who supports the Quality Manager with the implementation and maintenance of quality initiatives. Areas include in-process inspection, final inspection, first article inspection, and MRB.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal/process audits. Ensure compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
• Interface with customers and vendors as necessary to resolve any product quality problems.
• Lead and participate in problem solving activities, including root cause analysis, test method validations, and risk management related to design, manufacturing and supplier issues.
• Communicate significant issues or developments during quality inspection activities and through analysis, provide plans and recommendations to the team and management for resolution.
• Review, update, implement changes and establish standards to controlled documents (GMS, GPS, specifications, methods…etc).
• Ensure robust application of the Quality Management System (QMS) by supporting the management review process with analytical and statistical perspectives of the operation.
• Provide continuous improvement through techniques and methodologies including Six-Sigma and Kaizen to improve process and product quality.
• Create inspection plans defining the appropriate means for validating requirements.
• Supervises quality staff
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of supervisory experience while performing Quality Control functions
• Technical or Associate’s degree
• Knowledge of AS9100 and other ISO standards. AS9100 auditor certification preferred.
• Practical knowledge in root cause analysis, FMEA, design of experiment and other data analysis methodologies.
• Proficient on Statistical Process Control (SPC) documentation and interpretation.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Good project management skills.
• Strong attention to details, highly organized, computer literate.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
