Job summary

Jabil Salt Lake City is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead and develop Quality Inspectors, ensuring customer requirements are met and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will recruit, train, coach, and evaluate staff; monitor metrics; implement 5S and quality systems, ensure ISO 9001 compliance, and partner with operations to achieve production and quality objectives on a Monday-Friday 3:00 PM–11:30 PM shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business or related field is preferred.
• 3-5 years of supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing or quality environment.
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced operation.
• Experience with quality inspection processes and quality systems.
• Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of Quality Inspectors and other assigned personnel.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop Quality team members.
• Monitor team performance and provide ongoing feedback and development.
• Develop and maintain training programs to ensure qualification to customer and company requirements.
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling to meet production and quality objectives.
• Train and qualify inspectors to customer-specific quality standards.
• Monitor quality and productivity metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical support on inspection-related issues and support 5S and workplace organization.
