Job summary

Camaco is seeking a Quality Supervisor for the first shift at our Wisconsin facility. Production runs 7 days a week, with hours from 6am to 4:30pm; overtime may be required.

The role plans and directs QA activities to maintain quality standards across materials and finished products. Qualifications include an associate degree in engineering or related field, at least 1 year of supervisory experience, 3+ years in quality assurance, and experience in automotive seating.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• 3+ years of work experience in quality assurance.
• Experience in automotive seating.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assign work of Quality Inspectors and Technicians.
• Assist in maintaining customer satisfaction using plant quality assurance methods.
• Review product quality issues through direct communication with Quality Department Employees.
• Respond to quality concerns (8D) and develop and communicate corrective actions.
• Provide support to IATF 16949 activities.
• Serve as cross functional team member with Control Plans, FMEA, 8D, SPC.
• Update 8-D/corrective action log on supplier rejections.
• Assist in maintaining the Gage room and calibration requirements.
• Suggest improvements to working conditions and equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Initiate plans to motivate workers to achieve goals.
• Maintain discipline and morale among direct reports.
• Review scrap material and pursue scrap avoidance actions.
