Job summary

Nefab South Central in Houston is seeking a Quality/Environmental Supervisor Representative to maintain ISO certifications and partner with every department to safeguard our quality and environmental programs. The role administers the document control system (MasterControl), ensures staff can use it effectively, and leads audits, CAPA and 5 WHY analysis to drive continual improvement across the plant.

Qualifications include a university degree (B.S.

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in a B2B logistics/coordinator related role.
  • Experience with ERP systems; manufacturing experience.
  • Root cause analysis skills (CAPA, 8D, FMEA, 5 WHYs).
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration in prior roles.

Responsibilities

  • Administrator of the document control system (MasterControl).
  • Ensure personnel are trained to use the system effectively.
  • Coordinate document publishing and approvals.
  • Maintain ISO 9001/14001: establish, implement, and maintain the system; report performance and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure compliance during audits (internal and external).
  • Manage corrective actions and drive ISO improvement across the plant.
  • Promote ISO 9001/14001 awareness among plant employees.
  • Regularly review the system to reflect current practices.

The Quality/Environmental Supervisor Representative is responsible for maintaining ISO certifications. The incumbent of this position holds both responsibilities and works with all departments in the business unit.

Main Responsibilities
  • Administrator of the document control system -MasterControl.
  • Ensure personnel have knowledge required to use the system effectively.
  • Send all documents needing publishing for approval.
  • Administration of ISO 9001/14001: ensure the system is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with the standard and reports to top management on performance, including recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance during both external and internal audits.
  • Ensure corrective actions from audits are completed by responsible personnel in a timely manner.
  • Help drive the importance of ISO 9001/14001 out to the plant employees.
  • Constant review our system to ensure it reflects our current practice.
Minimum Experience And Education Requirements
EDUCATION
  • University Degree (B.S. in Systems Engineering preferred)
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in a B2B logistics coordinator related role.
  • Experience using ERP systems, MS Word, Excel and Outlook - Microsoft Axapta (AX) is a plus.
  • Manufacturing experience required.
  • Root cause analysis (CAPA, 8D, FMEA, 5 WHY’S) skills are required.
  • Proven experience in cross-functional environments.
LANGUAGES
  • Bilingual, Spanish preferred

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel required.

  • Must have strong written and verbal skills; be well organized and capable of handling multiple assignments and possess attention to detail
  • Must be intellectually curious and have the ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex legal and financial documents
  • Ability to be able to communicate clearly and effectively to all employees, customers, and vendors
