Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to lead a quality team in production, address quality issues promptly, and maintain strong customer communication. The role emphasizes GMP/quality standards, training, and strong teamwork to uphold product quality and safety.

Essential functions include supervising quality processes, presenting cases to management, and coordinating with production and safety programs to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in quality control.

Responsibilities

• Work with the quality team to correct quality issues and train your team.
• Present quality cases to the Plant Manager effectively.
• Follow through logical processes for resolution of quality issues.
• Maintain contact with customers weekly for follow-up and proactive solutions.
• Serve as a point of contact for customer complaints, create action plans and see them through to solution.
• Provide support to the production team.
• Monitor and participate in the plant's safety program.
• Monitor and review quality forms and paperwork for accuracy.

Work Shift: Salary Exempt (United States of America)

The quality control supervisory is responsible for leading a quality team to drive best practices in quality control, and to quickly and effectively address any quality issues that arise in production.

Essential Function - Roles/Responsibilities

• Work with the quality team in order to correct any quality issues that may arise as well as train and develop your team to better handle quality issues.
• Present quality cases or arguments to the Plant Manager in an effective way.
• Follow through logical processes for the resolution of quality issues.
• Maintain contact with customers on a weekly basis for follow up and proactive quality solutions.
• Serve as a point of contact for customer complaints, create an action plan to solve the complaint, and see through to a solution.
• Provide support to the production team.
• Monitor and participate in the plant's safety program.
• Monitor and review quality forms and paperwork for accuracy.

• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Qualifications

Required

• 2 years experience in quality control.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Communicate effectively in both written and oral formats.
• Be able to train and perform follow-up with the quality team.
• Developed leadership skills.
• Be able to work independently.
• Be willing to ask for help when necessary.

Preferred

• Experience with GMP's
• HACCP program experience
• Familiar with regulatory auditing
• Experience with calibration schedules
• Experience with quality hold processes
• 2 or 4 year degree
