Job summary

Bloom Energy is seeking a Quality Specialist to join our on-site team in Newark, DE. This role reports to the Senior Quality Engineering Manager and operates on a Friday–Sunday 6AM–6PM weekend shift.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in science or technical field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a complex production manufacturing environment.
• Resourceful problem solver with ability to bring quick resolution to basic production issues with regards to equipment, process, or manpower.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead root cause analysis and autopsy critical components and systems to correlate conditions to product performance.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment used to measure and evaluate critical material and dimensional attributes.
• Create measurement and analysis reports and catalog results for future reference.
• Communicate with Quality, Product Design, and process engineering teams.
• Support Engineering with implementation of new processes and products and use data to drive improvements.
• Support manufacturing launch of new and revised products aligned with company goals.
• Review and identify continuous improvement opportunities for manufacturing processes and production flow.
• Test different machinery, tools and equipment for suggested manufacturing methods.

Education

Associate Degree or equivalent in science or other technical field preferred
