Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Quality Specialist to support the implementation and maintenance of quality systems for electronics components and assemblies in Valley Green, PA. This entry-level role focuses on inspection, documentation, and NCR containment.

You will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections, verify drawings and work instructions, document results in ERP, assist root cause analysis, and help ensure adherence to ESD

Qualifications

• High school diploma or associate degree in electronics or related field.
• Basic understanding of IPC/WHMA-A-620 or similar standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
• Familiarity with measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, go/no-go gauges).
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP systems).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of electronic components, cable assemblies, and PCBs using magnification tools and measurement equipment.
• Verify compliance with work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
• Document inspection results in ERP or quality management systems.
• Assist in nonconformance reporting (NCR) and containment activities.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects (e.g., soldering, gasket placement, wire routing).
• Conduct basic electrical tests (continuity, hipot, LLCR) under supervision.
• Maintain calibration records for measurement tools.
• Participate in layered process audits and report findings.
• Ensure adherence to ESD, cleanliness, and safety standards in the work area.
