Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the CBS team in Valley Green, PA. The role focuses on planning and facilitating quality activities for manufacturing development projects, including FMEA, Product Quality Planning, and DOE studies, to ensure robust processes and product quality.

The position requires a Bachelor's in engineering with strong QA discipline, SPC experience, and proficiency with Minitab and GD&T.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent with strong QA background.
Experience applying SPC and DOE in manufacturing environments.
Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Act as a team member to manage projects addressing quality aspects and risks.
Interface with vendors, process and product engineering to ensure capability and documentation compliance.
Lead investigations of deviations and implement corrective actions using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
Collaborate with site quality, engineering and other departments through final development phases.
Define project plans, qualification tasks, and schedules to meet time-to-market objectives.
Determine inspection methods and manage metrology requirements.
Develop and control inspection standards and process for quality assurance.
