Job summary

Schnellecke Logistics USA is seeking a Quality Specialist to implement and maintain the Integrated Management System in alignment with customer requirements and Schnellecke standards. The role emphasizes ensuring system functionality, up-to-date documentation, and adherence to ISO 9001.

You will monitor scrap processing, support incident investigations, and collaborate with MBUSI to resolve quality and cost issues while ensuring data accuracy for KPIs and management reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and maintaining integrated management systems.
• Ability to update daily/weekly/monthly scorecards and KPI data.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 documentation and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Integrated Management System is up-to-date and accessible to all employees.
• Control and monitor scrap processing transactions in line with customer standards.
• Update data for KPI reports and management reviews.
• Communicate with MBUSI to resolve scrap material and cost issues.
• Maintain documentation and incident investigation support as required.
• Manage action task lists and ensure timely completion by owners.
• Maintain Quality Matrix and document control according to Schnellecke procedures.

Description

The Quality Specialist is responsible for, but not limited to, ensuring implementation of an Integrated Management System for the business unit, taking into account the applicable quality standards, customer requirements and standards set by Schnellecke Logistics to ensure compliance. Ensuring the Integrated Management System is Functional, up to date and available to all employees. Control and monitor scrap processing transaction in compliance with customer standards. Adherence to Safety Principles at all times.

Requirements

• Know and apply the standard work procedures and safety rules for all tasks assigned to ensure compliance
• Verify the execution of the documentation and controls of the processes with the purpose that you/they take actions for the prevention and elimination of flaws in the processes.
• To update data into daily, weekly, and monthly scorecard and databases for view during management operational meetings and update data for required KPI’s to monitor operational performance by assessing online customer and Schnellecke databases and compiling the data.
• Use Supplier Quality Management System for processing scrap material out of MBUSI SQMS system,
• Manage the distribution lists for the online applications including, but not limited to Forms on Fire and iGrafx
• Communicate with MBUSI to resolve issues pertaining to scrap material and cost
• Administration of Action Task List and follow up with the responsible individuals for completion of action tasks
• Ensuring the up-to-date functioning of the Quality Matrix and the background working of document in iGrafx
• Document control for the Integrated Management System is in compliance to ISO9001 and Schnellecke procedures.
• Assist with the completion of the incident investigation packet for injuries and incidents.
• Manage, train and report on the Layered Process Audits.
