Qualifications

  • One to three years related experience.
  • Minimum of one year industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to understand welding procedure specifications (WPS)
  • Ability to understand material tracking reports (MTRs)
  • Ability to understand weld mapping and heat numbers.
  • Well organized with attention to detail and good communications skills.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Bluebeam, Outlook; learn MaxTrax.

Responsibilities

  • Report to QA/QC Manager/Supervisor.
  • Organize reports/documents as they come in & review for accuracy.
  • Review inspection reports/documents for accuracy and file into turnover dossiers per area.
  • Build turnover dossiers per direction of Quality Manager.
  • Track construction progress.
  • Maintain documents daily by inserting into turnover dossiers.
  • Maintain code books, project specifications and regulations per QC Manual.
  • Audit dossiers & logs to identify errors & missing reports.
  • Upload and review MaxTrax weld tracking system.
  • Identify delays or issues and report to Supervisor.

Job Summary

Must have experience in document or administrative management. Oil and Gas industry experience preferred. Must be able to manage a high-volume workload and work in a team, tracking and maintaining documents for client, vendor and NDE requirements. Maintain efficient workflow of vendor and client documents. Must be able to identify delays or issues that interfere in workflow processes and report to supervisor. Qualified candidates will also have experience with welding procedure specifications (WPS) and material tracking reports (MTRs) highly preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Report to QA/QC Manager/Supervisor

Requirements

  • Ability to work with little supervision, self-starter & motivation.
  • Ability to understand isometric drawings. (i.e., piping fitting, BOM, spec breaks)
  • Well organized, attention to detail & good communications skills
  • Ability to prioritize, demonstrate initiative, and handle the pressure of multiple project group document requirements with tact.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy.
  • Computer literate and competent in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Bluebeam, Outlook, and ability to learn MaxTrax required.
  • Familiar with the types of equipment used in process plants – field or vendor experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing & recordkeeping
  • Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment
  • Solid communication skills, professional attitude, and works well and in harmony with others.
  • Some overtime may be required with management approval.
  • Strong organizational skills including alphabetization and numerical filing.
  • Ability to work independently and excellent time management skills.
  • Traceability / Document Control / Turnover knowledge
  • Ability to lift, bend, stoop, sit, stand, and reach for extended periods of time.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to walk the property and laydown yards.
  • Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.
