Job summary

Email Checklist in Agawam, MA is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform on-site quality inspections of machined and assembled aerospace parts within a long-term staffing arrangement.

The role requires experience with first piece, in-process and final inspections, FAI documentation, reading engineering drawings, and GD&T; familiarity with AS9100/AS9102 is preferred. On-site, contract-to-hire. Candidates should be proficient with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other hand tools.

Qualifications

• Experience with first piece, in-process and final inspections.

• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with GD&T.
• Able to use hand measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, micrometers.
• Familiar with AS9100 or AS9102 preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

In this role, you will be working as a Quality Inspector for a client that works in the Aerospace industry. This position will be responsible for quality inspections on machined and assembled parts.

This position is a contract to possible hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.

Pay; 55,000-$65,000/Yr.

• Experience with first piece, in-process and final inspections
• Able to do First Artical Inspections (FAI) and prepare documentation
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience with GD&T
• Able to use hand measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, micrometers etc..
• Familiar with AS9100 or AS9102 preferred
