Job summary

Cannon Automotive Solutions, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an opening for a Section Manager Quality in our Bowling Green, KY stamping facility. This role leads the Quality Department, ensures ISO compliance, and drives continuous improvement in quality systems to support business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have proven quality management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to oversee audits, calibration, and supplier quality.

Qualifications

• BS degree (or higher) in related field.
• 5–7 years of quality management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Interpret current quality data to ensure quality goals and reliability.
• Formulate and maintain quality control objectives aligned with corporate policies.
• Lead audits and implement ISO Quality Manual requirements.
• Direct inspection activities and ensure calibration and testing procedures.
• Coordinate with production to maximize reliability and minimize costs.
• Train quality inspectors on new requirements and procedures.
• Oversee calibration documentation and vendor quality.
• Investigate and resolve customer quality complaints.
• Report progress to Senior Leadership and implement directives.
• Lead the Quality Department staff and activities.
