Job summary

Cannon Automotive Solutions - Bowling Green Inc. in Bowling Green, KY, is seeking a Section Manager Quality to lead and manage the quality assurance function at our stamping facility.

You will plan, develop, and implement quality systems that support corporate objectives and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has significant quality management experience, strong leadership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree required with five to seven years of related quality management experience.
• Experience working with castings, machined parts, and domestic/international suppliers preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Interprets current quality data to ensure policies meet goals and reliability.
• Formulates and maintains quality control objectives aligned with corporate policies.
• Assists in formulating and implementing inspection criteria and procedures.
• Provides leadership during internal and external audits.
• Interprets and implements ISO Quality Manual for personnel.
• Sets up standards and procedures for quality assurance and evaluation of instruments.
• Directs inspection activities to ensure control over materials, facilities, and products.
• Coordinates objectives with production to maximize reliability and minimize costs.
• Trains inspectors on new requirements and procedures and implements changes in quality programs.
