Job summary
UC Davis Health seeks a Director of Quality, Safety, and Performance Improvement to lead the Quality and Safety Division within System Clinical Care Services. This role partners with CQO and senior leaders to design and evaluate enterprise-wide quality, patient safety, and performance initiatives across the health system.

Qualifications
- CPHQ certification required.
- Master's degree in nursing, Organizational Development, Public Health, Health Administration or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years in a large academic organization or healthcare background.
- Extensive knowledge of quality improvement tools and methodologies such as PDCA, Lean, Six Sigma, statistical process control analysis.
- Proven history of achieving goals and driving institutional improvement strategies.
Responsibilities
- Strategic leadership for quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement.
- Oversight of quality analytics, reporting, and governance structures.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, medical staff, and departments to advance organizational priorities.
- Monitor performance and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
- Provide people leadership and budgetary stewardship across the division.
