Job summary

The Quality/Safety Manager II for Children’s Services at MUSC reports to the System Quality Director for Children’s and Women’s Services and collaborates with ICCE leadership to support QAPI and safety programs. The role involves data collection, analysis, benchmarking, and leading multidisciplinary teams to improve performance against goals.

The position oversees all QAPI and regulatory activities, monitors patient safety events with leadership, and coordinates with Risk Management to implement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field with 7+ years in quality and performance improvement, or a master’s in a health-related field with 3+ years in healthcare quality/performance improvement.
• Certification as CPHP or CPPS is preferred.
