Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Quality/Safety Director for Path/Lab ICCE to lead the QAPI program and regulatory activities across the system. You will collaborate with senior leadership, collect and present performance data, and drive multidisciplinary teams to improve safety and quality metrics.

The role requires an accredited healthcare-related master\'s degree (preferred) or a bachelor\'s with substantial experience in healthcare quality/safety, with pathology/lab services

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred with at least 5 years of experience in a healthcare organization quality/safety program.
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare quality/safety.
• Experience in pathology and laboratory services is required.
• Certification as CPQ or Patient Safety preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead QAPI and regulatory/accreditation activities for Path/Lab ICCE.
• Coordinate with Path/Lab ICCE Leadership and System QAPI Director to drive data-driven improvements.
• Collect, analyze, and present performance data to oversight and governance groups.
• Manage a team of managers, coordinators, data analysts, and registry staff.
