Uvalde Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Quality Coordinator RN to strengthen clinical performance, support regulatory readiness, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. The role combines nursing expertise with data analysis to drive safer, higher-quality care across the hospital.
You will monitor CMS and Joint Commission requirements, conduct chart reviews, educate staff, and lead RCA investigations.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license in Texas.
- BSN strongly preferred.
- Master's degree preferred in Nursing, Public Health, or Healthcare Administration.
Responsabilités
- Monitor CMS Core Measures, Joint Commission standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support survey readiness for JCAHO, CMS, and state agencies.
- Conduct concurrent and retrospective chart reviews for documentation accuracy.
- Educate clinical teams on documentation, regulatory standards, core measures, and patient safety.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and PDSA to improve workflows and outcomes.
- Lead RCAs for serious safety events and near misses; develop corrective actions.
- Investigate incidents and maintain incident reports.
- Analyze trends to identify systemic risks and improve safety.
- Present quality indicators and trends to leadership and frontline teams.
