Job summary

SoTalent seeks an experienced healthcare quality and risk management professional to lead initiatives across quality improvement, patient safety, clinical risk management, and regulatory compliance for a multi-site hospital market. You will drive performance improvement, guide leadership on risk matters, and oversee investigations and corrective actions.

The role requires nursing licensure in Florida, 3–5 years in quality/risk domains, 2–4 years of management, and a CPHQ certification within 18

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida or multi-state license.
• 3–5 years of experience in quality improvement, patient safety, clinical risk management, or related healthcare function.
• 2–4 years of management or supervisory experience.
• CPHQ certification required within 18 months of hire.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Hospital clinical experience preferred; pediatric experience advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality improvement methodologies, risk management, patient safety, and data analysis.
• Experience with clinical pathways, peer review, benchmarking, and quality scorecards.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management programs aligned with organizational goals.
• Develop, implement, and monitor performance improvement initiatives across clinical and operational departments.
• Provide guidance to hospital leadership on quality, safety, and clinical risk matters.
• Investigate patient safety events and oversee root cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, safety, risk management, and infection control standards.
• Oversee quality and risk activities across hospital and off-site facilities.
• Analyze quality data, performance metrics, benchmarking, and scorecards to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement standardized processes, quality initiatives, and patient safety practices.
• Lead and develop departmental staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Collaborate with clinical leaders, physicians, administrators, and cross-functional teams on quality and risk initiatives.
• Participate in organizational committees, special projects, and performance improvement activities.
• Manage departmental operations and fiscal responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies.
