Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program (diploma/ASN/BSN).
• Knowledge of local/state/federal LTC regulations and Medicare/Medicaid participation.
• Strong documentation, communication and observational auditing skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality review visits to HHC-owned nursing homes and residential facilities.
• Audit medication administration, wound care, and record documentation during site visits.
• Prepare site visit reports and coordinate with the quality review team.
• Compile quarterly reports for the Planning Committee and attend meetings as needed.
• Respond to resident and family inquiries with professional service.
• Develop educational materials and staff training for long term care.
• Help develop departmental policies and procedures for LTC functions.
• Arrange travel for out-of-town site visits when required.
