Job summary
A healthcare services provider is seeking a Regional Quality Assurance & Education Nurse responsible for overseeing clinical quality initiatives and coordinating educational programs across long-term care facilities. The role includes ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while supporting clinical staff and Directors of Nursing. Qualifications
- Must possess an active RN license with a multi-state preference.
- 3–5 years of long-term care experience required.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing leadership experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee clinical quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitor compliance with regulations and educate staff.
- Support Directors of Nursing and participate in QAPI initiatives.
Skills
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Long-term care experience
Nursing leadership experience
Knowledge of CMS regulations
Experience with Quality Measures
Staff education and training
Ability to travel
Education
North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license
Infection Preventionist Certification (IP)
Wound Care Certification
QAPI training or certification
