Job summary

DGS Office of External Affairs is seeking a Quality Reporting Analyst to develop tools and dashboards for the Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning within the Family and Social Services Administration. The role reviews monthly, quarterly, and annual reports from Managed Care Entities to ensure quality and contract compliance.

Job description

The Quality Reporting Analyst develops support tools and dashboards for the Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning within the Family and Social Services Administration. The role reviews approximately 300 monthly, quarterly, and annual reports from Managed Care Entities to ensure quality and contract compliance, and collaborates to revise reporting manuals based on policy updates and contract amendments. This position analyzes data reports and provides in-depth assessment of MCE submissions to support Medicaid programs serving Hoosiers.

Key qualifications:

• 9+ years of experience in a similar role applying specialized program knowledge and analysis skills
• Extensive knowledge of provider agencies, programs, services, and federal and state laws governing Medicaid programs
• Ability to develop and implement new principles and policies with understanding of far-reaching implications
• Strong presentation and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to prepare financial and accounting reports to maintain program budgets
• Ability to delegate work, manage workflow, and develop employee skillsets
