Job summary

McCormick & Company is offering a full-time 10-week Quality & Regulatory Intern internship in Geneva, IL. The program runs June through August 2027, requiring 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a pay range of $20–$22 per hour.

Students will join a cross-functional team to standardize and improve food safety, quality systems and regulatory compliance, while gaining exposure to leadership and real-world challenges in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Biological & Physical Sciences, or related field.
• Graduation date 6 months to 1 year from internship end date.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2-3 impactful projects including implementation of Food Safety and Quality policies and standards.
• Develop and document process improvements.
• Sanitary design review and support for capital projects.
• Compliance initiatives related to FDA Nutrition Labeling regulations.
• CIP (Clean-in-Place) validation leadership and/or execution.
• Updating site Food Safety Plans, Hazard Analyses, and related procedures.
• SPC analysis and system capability improvements.
• Quality issue and customer complaint resolution.
• New product scale-up and commercialization support.
• Support for day-to-day operations quality, customer quality, or regulatory affairs activities.
• Projects aligned to site’s Quality and Food Safety priorities.
