Job summary

Qualifications

• ASNT SNT-TC-1A Level I in Visual Inspection (NDE).
• Ability to interpret compliance documentation (POs, NCRs, SCARs).
• Experience with dimensional inspection equipment and warehouse operations.
• Preferred: ASNT SNT-TC-1A Level II NDE in Magnetic Particle inspections.
• Preferred: ASCM CSCP certification.
• Preferred: OSHA 10 safety certification.
• Preferred: 8D problem solving methodology.
• Preferred: ASTM/ASME compliance interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections, measurements, and tests on materials and components to identify defects and document discrepancies.
• Use tape measures and dimensional inspection techniques to verify PO requirements.
• Interpret drawings, procedures, and specifications to ensure conformance.
• Test finished products and assemblies for function and quality.
• Mark items for acceptance or rejection and document results; release materials for use.
• Assist in root cause investigations and communicate findings across teams.
• Inspect incoming materials against PO, packing lists, and specs; maintain inspection records.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve material quality issues.
