Job summary

The Cicor Group in Solon, Ohio is seeking an Incoming Receiving Inspector to join our Quality Assurance Department. You will inspect and verify incoming materials, components, and finished goods to ensure they meet our quality standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include applying inspection procedures, recording results, identifying nonconforming items, and supporting supplier quality investigations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; ASQ CQIA preferred.
• 1–3 years of quality inspection/receiving experience.
• Knowledge of ISO-13485 standard.
• Must pass IPC-A-610 training within six months and renew every two years.
• Proficient use of calipers, micrometers, microscopes and inspection aids.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Able to read and understand work instructions, drawings and routing cards.
• Able to work independently and escalate as needed.
• Able to communicate effectively with all departments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials per procedures and specifications.
• Verify quantities, part numbers, certifications, and documentation.
• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections.
• Review certifications and COCs for compliance.
• Record inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Identify and segregate nonconforming materials.
• Generate nonconformance reports and communicate findings.
• Assist investigations related to supplier quality issues.
• Ensure proper labeling and disposition of materials.
• Maintain calibration awareness and proper use of inspection equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement of receiving processes.
• Follow safety policies and keep work area clean.
