Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Receiving Inspector for our Solon, OH facility to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections, ensuring materials meet quality requirements. The role interfaces with the Quality Manager and Quality Engineer.

Responsibilities include inspecting materials, leading corrective actions with suppliers, and maintaining inspection docs and SDS labeling. Strong reading of drawings and metrology skills are essential; ISO 9001:2015 knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or related field with applicable experience.
• 2–5 years of Quality Assurance experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standard.
• Experience using measurement tools (meters, gauges, calipers).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Electrical testing experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, performing tests, and transferring acceptable materials to the ERP system.
• Perform in-process and final electrical and mechanical inspections with appropriate corrections to Production.
• Develop and maintain quality inspection work instructions with Quality Engineering.
• Lead supplier corrective action analyses and responses.
• Receive RMAs and manage related records.
• Label chemicals per SDS procedures.
• Maintain measurement equipment per calibration and repair procedures.
• Follow safety standards and legal regulations to keep a safe workplace.
