Job summary

Vishay Spectrol in California, USA, seeks a qualified QEHS Manager to lead quality, environmental, health and safety programs across Ontario, CA and Mexicali. You will maintain ISO certifications and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires a bachelor's in a technical field and 3–5 years' experience in manufacturing, with strong knowledge of ISO standards and problem-solving tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
  • 3–5 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of electromechanical concepts.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
  • Statistical concepts related to quality (SPC, DOE).
  • Experience with quality tools (PDCA, 8D) and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Receiving Inspectors, Final inspectors, and Quality Engineers.
  • Maintain and develop quality system, preserving ISO certifications in Ontario, CA and Mexicali, Mexico.
  • Coordinate external audits with registrar.
  • Lead internal audits and train auditors.
  • Respond to customer complaints with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Manage CAPA, NCMAs, supplier nonconformities, and audit findings.
