Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Quality PTM (Project Quality Engineer) to manage quality within projects, define quality costs, and monitor APQP deliverables to meet customer and Valeo targets. The role includes ensuring milestones are met and coordinating with suppliers and design reviews.

You will implement DFMEA/PFMEA considerations, oversee 4M matrix changes after design freeze, and drive QRQC incident handling to prevent issues from cradle to grave.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in the automotive quality field.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC.
• Experience with customer interfaces and OEMs.

Responsibilities

• Manage quality in projects and set/monitor APQP derivables.
• Define quality cost and follow customer milestones.
• Identify risks, escalate roadblocks, and drive QRQC.
• Update quality documents after changes and participate in design reviews.
• Support supplier management and validation with QRQC rules.
