Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Site Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer in the United States to ensure that purchased components meet customer and regulatory requirements. You will communicate requirements across the organization, drive PDCA cycles, and manage supplier non-conformities at the site.

You will work with SQA, supplier representatives, and Valeo production teams to achieve 100% conformity, initiate and close quality incidents, and maintain PQA status with robust containment and CAPA follow-up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Automotive OEM or at Supplier.
• Quality and/or Supplier Quality engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage component non-conformity issues at the site and take actions to protect assembly lines.
• Ensure conformity control of components supplied to the production site.
• Aim for 100% capable yearly initial samples with robust communication to stakeholders.
• Lead PDCA analysis speed and relevancy until closure with clear communication to the APU.
• Serve as the link between SQA, supplier representatives and Valeo production teams.
• Track and secure supplier chargebacks with Purchasing team support.
• Ensure 100% conformity of components at site level and coordinate containment within 24h.
• Apply QRQC/SRM/PG rules to open incidents and verify containment robustness.
• Maintain 100% yearly conformity per PQA process and provide initial samples with capability evidence.
• Initiate, analyze and follow up on incidents until PDCA closure per SQM guidelines.
