Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field, or experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in the Quality field within automotive industry.
• Knowledge in Quality Controls (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC).
• Customer interface and experience with OEM.
• Experience with problem solving (QRQC, 8Ds, 5 Phases, 5 Why’s, Ishikawa).

Responsibilities

• Manage quality in projects and set/monitor APQP derivables to meet quality and cost targets.
• Define quality cost and follow up customer milestones.
• Detect risks and prevent problems from cradle to grave; escalate roadblocks.
• Ensure build in quality standards and track Critical/Important Characteristics.
• Lead design reviews and revision of control plans after issues or tests.
• Support supplier management activities and ensure IS validated by customer on time.
• Participate in QRQC meetings and ensure single issues list is managed.
