Job summary

Enjet Aero, LLC is seeking a Quality Project Specialist to drive on-time delivery of high-precision aerospace parts. You will lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations to move programs from proposal through completion.

Ideal candidates will have a strong quality background in aerospace, AS9100 experience, and the ability to communicate program health to site leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or five years related experience and training.
  • AS9100 quality standards experience.
  • Pratt & Whitney and/or GE Aviation experience preferred.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Effective communication and presentation of reports across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned projects from proposal through completion, ensuring successful completion of all requirements (process improvement, quotation, Quality Continuous Improvement).
  • Develop project execution plans identifying risks, opportunities, and critical timelines (Control Plans, PPAP).
  • Coordinate communication and task execution between technical, administrative, financial, and production teams.
  • Understand and document program details and technical requirements, and ensure all requirements are met.
  • Regularly communicate program health, status, and needs to site-level and executive leadership.
  • Ensure new project implementation and contract review procedures are followed among Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations groups.
  • Management and execution of functional quality tasks (Control Plans, PPAP, FAIs).
  • Support intra-team communication and facilitate the flow of material and jobs from receiving through production.
  • Ability to obtain DPRV certification in a timely manner.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Manage salvage inventory operations.
  • Assist with audit preparation and execution.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge.
  • Additional duties/projects as assigned.

Position Description:

The Quality Project Specialist (QPS) supports our business objective of “delivering a quality product, on time” by maintaining lines of effective communication among department stakeholders, identifying areas of improvement, and addressing bottlenecks as they arise. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, possess an understanding of the importance of the Quality mission as it relates to aerospace requirements, and comprehend the “big picture” without losing sight of the realities of day-to-day production. A successful (QPS) keeps the flow of material and jobs moving from receiving through inspection to stock efficiently while satisfying the needs of our internal customers in Purchasing, Engineering, Operations and Inspection.
