Job summary

Stadler US is seeking a Quality Project Manager in Utah to bridge customers, inspectors, engineering, and production teams. You will implement project QA plans, ensure compliance with standards, and drive QA throughout manufacturing and warranty phases.

The role requires coordinating audits, managing inspections, and leading continuous improvement using 8D/5-Why methodologies, with collaboration across global teams including Swiss-based engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quality Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2–5 years of quality engineering, quality management, or technical project management experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute project-specific QA plans, quality reports, procedures, and work instructions aligned with customer requirements, industry standards, and internal factory guidelines.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer-resident inspectors, coordinating requests, managing expectations, and ensuring seamless compliance throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions using structured methodologies (8D, 5-Why). Implement daily QA/QC workflows, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvement across project teams.
• Collaborate with the FAI Manager to establish FAI plans and provide hands-on quality support during the first article review phase.
• Plan, schedule, and execute internal and external quality audits. Ensure full alignment with contractual obligations, configuration management design processes, and regulatory standards.
• Establish inspection plans across all project stages, define clear acceptance criteria for QC inspectors, and maintain the vehicle history books, inspection records, and quality documentation.
• Work closely with cross-functional project management teams, production leads, and international counterparts.
