Job summary

Multi-Color Corporation is seeking a Quality Technician to support the Quality Manager in monitoring processes across the value stream, ensuring adherence to MCC standards and specifications. You will assist with calibration, label/process approvals, and data analysis to improve quality metrics.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years in printing, strong math and Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 3+ years in printing industry preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of quality assurance.
• Ability to read rulers and pass color hue test.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to follow shift instructions and stay focused.
• Independent worker with team spirit.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• ISO 9001:2000 knowledge and ASQ certifications are a plus.
• Physical demands include standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and vision requirements.

Responsibilities

• Comply with company and safety policies.
• Assist with equipment calibration and care.
• Approve labels and processes before press run.
• Approve roll end retains saved by press operators.
• Assemble and update color tolerance folders and color consistency files.
• Collect and review rejected information as assigned by the Quality Manager.
• Conduct data collection and analysis.
• Support MCC Quality Management System and document control.
• Perform internal audits as part of MCC’s Internal Audit Team.
• Participate in improvement initiatives and projects.
• Attend department meetings as scheduled.
• Work overtime as needed and as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
