Job summary

MCC, a global leader in premium labels, seeks a Quality Technician to perform on-line quality audits, materials testing, and report results. You will support manufacturing, technical service, and R&D by ensuring conformance to specifications across raw stock, in-process labels, and finished products.

The role requires applying testing methods, maintaining calibration and quality records, and following safety policies to sustain product integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ experience or related education.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Color vision, close vision, distance vision and ability to focus.
• Must be able to stand, use hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.
• Frequent walking; may climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Regularly able to lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits per applicable sampling plans and audits.
• Maintain data integrity and containment of non-conforming material.
• Assist in process capability testing and routine product inspection.
• Communicate effectively with Quality and Operations teams.
• Daily maintenance and calibration of testing equipment.
• Maintain quality records and documentation (internal audits, calibration, training).
• Perform product inspection audits at set intervals to ensure standards are met.
• Create and manage color standards.
• Assist in documentation of R&D projects and QA testing as required.
• Follow safety rules and ISO/BRC/HAACP or similar principles.
